The blades are made from spring steel, have been laser cut, and tapered to our custom specs. Each blade, as always, comes from a single sheet of steel. That means no welds nor two piece blades, making these the toughest Extractor blades yet to be produced. If used correctly, they should last approximately 200 cutouts or more. That's only $0.15 per cut out. These blades are very easy to sharpen. Simply run across a wet belt sander, grinder or file, putting a 45 degree edge on one side of the blade.

The correct air pressure to run this tool from your Extractor kit is between 80 to 90 PSI. The compressor must run a minimum of 3 to 4 CFM to effectively operate the Extractor. The Chicago Pneumatic Air Hammer CP715 only has two moving parts; a cycling valve for air flow and a piston that drives the shaft. The CP715 now features a new machined aluminum handle, making it stronger and tougher than before.
